InsideOut Solutions is proud to announce the June 5th launch of a new custom responsive WordPress website for The Jefferson County Library!
The Jefferson County Library came to us through their Administrative Services Manager, Brywn Griffin, who had worked with lead designer Beth Edwards and InsideOut Solutions on a previous website. The working relationship was a proven success, so when it came time for a new site for the Jefferson County Library, working with Beth and InsideOut was her first choice.
The old Jefferson County Library website had served its purpose but was now in need of some serious updating. It wasn’t responsive, secure, or as ADA compliant as it could and should be. Further, updating and adding content was a clunky, inefficient process.
InsideOut set out to fix these issues, while simultaneously focusing on making the site simple for visitors to use. The new, custom responsive WordPress website was going to need to be very flexible. Jefferson County Library staff continually customize pages, update page tops, calendars, add online sign ups, embed videos, and so on. A good library website requires daily attention to stay fresh and useful for its patrons. This was not going to be some “set it and forget it” website!
Beth and Web Development Lead, Jack Waknitz, worked closely with the library to shape the site to their needs. The result is a beautiful and easy to use new custom responsive WordPress website. The staff were so eager to start using the new site, they were on it and updating content almost immediately.
